Ron Veale

Ron is a retired judge of the Supreme Court of Yukon. He was also a deputy judge in Nunavut and the Northwest Territories and sat on the Courts of Appeal of Yukon, NWT and Nunavut. Prior to his judicial career of 20 years, he practised in the Yukon in family law, personal injury, indigenous law and civil litigation. Ron was the Chancellor of the Diocese of Yukon and familiar with PWRDF prior to becoming a judge. As a lawyer he was involved in many community organizations and was the first chair of the Yukon Arts Centre and United Way Yukon. Ron and his wife have resided in Whitehorse for 50 years.
