The Reverend Valerie Isaac

A parish priest in Kapuskasing, Ontario, Valerie has recently been appointed dean of St. Matthew’s Cathedral in Timmins. She is a member of the diocesan executive council and was a regional dean.
Prior to becoming a member of the Board of Directors, Valerie was a diocesan representative for PWRDF, well known for telling its stories across the diocese at every opportunity.
A former radio news anchor, Valerie is a founding member and board member of the Kapuskasing Lumberjack Heritage Festival. As a member of the provincial board for Scouts for Youth with Disabilities she produced a training manual for adults. She also volunteered for the Canadian Red Cross, Meals on Wheels and Girl Guides.
