Dr. Lillian Scorrar-Olsen
Diocese of Huron

Lillian is a PWRDF representative for Essex deanery and a PWRDF parish representative. She travelled to Malawi in 2018 on a mission trip with Canadian Foodgrains Bank as the PWRDF representative and was struck by the devastation caused by climate change on developing nations. She has given many presentations on PWRDF maternal, child and newborn health programs, the Foodgrains Bank, and the good work of PWRDF.
Lillian, 34, is also mother to son Hudson, and wife to Levi Olsen. Lillian taught for 9 1/2 years as a college professor and is currently a pedorthist at BioPed Windsor. She is on many other committees in her community such as the animal care committee with the University of Windsor. She completed her Doctorate of Global Health Science, with a focus on maternal, newborn and child health, food security and how to help improve the health of Indigenous people.
She is a passionate and outspoken advocate for the vulnerable, oppressed and marginalized and a devoted Anglican. She has worked on many Indigenous projects following the release of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, including a deanery mission flying food and other goods to Kingfisher Lake. She works with her local food banks and missions to provide goods to local shelters, and to promote the work of PWRDF whenever she can.
