Alongside Hope Development Project
This project will support the people of Apayao, a province in northern Philippines, as they face serious environmental threats. In July 2024, 88% of Apayao’s land was recognized as the country’s fourth UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. But despite this recognition, the area is still vulnerable to large development projects that could harm its rich biodiversity and put both Indigenous communities and settlers at risk.
